This is a presentation on the patron saint of France, Joan of Arc.
Use it as part of a lesson or for an assembly for KS1, KS2 or KS3.
The presentation covers her childhood, the start of her mission, her victory, her downfall and how she is remembered. The last part of the presentation includes some interesting questions to provoke discussion.

This is an assembly for teaching children about Lent. It is suitable for ages 5-11. The theme is ‘giving something up’ and it is based on a Bible story about Jesus.
The 4 page pdf assembly plan is highly interactive, with plenty of opportunity for volunteers to take part or give answers or ideas. It includes questions to ask the children with answers. There is an introduction, a discussion, a Bible story, a further discussion and a final prayer/reflection.

This resource contains seven pdf lesson plans to teach children all about the Easter story. They can all be used individually or as a whole unit for Lent and Easter. They are suitable for ages 7 -11. The seven lessons are:

This is an assembly for Mother’s Day, with a focus on a Bible quote. There is a 4 page pdf plan and a 20 slide animated PowerPoint (non-editable- click ‘Read Only’ to open). In this assembly, children are encouraged to think about what they learn from their parents. The plan is easy to follow and requires no resources, so is perfect for using at the last minute! I like leading assemblies that are interactive, engaging and relevant to the children’s lives. This is an interactive powerpoint quiz all about Easter and spring. It contains 60 questions suitable for using with year 2 up.
Use as a starter, an assembly, a filler or a main activity.
